According to the China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group:
As of 16:30 14 August 2015, at least 269 lawyers/ law firm
staff/human right activists have been detained/ arrested/ incommunicado/
summoned/ restricted freedom temporarily.
Wang Yu was one of them and we had known her because she had been
actively involved in defending the “Five Feminists” when they were
charged in March with creating a disturbance as they planned a public
awareness campaign against sexual harassment to coincide with
International Women’s Day.
